Lawrence Krauss is a wonderful teacher. He's intelligent, passionate, and sometimes funny! I attended one of his lectures a few years ago at UBC in Vancouver BC. In fact, his work forms part of the inspiration I needed to write The House at the Edge of Space. I encourage people to read his books. This brief video doesn't get into the ups and downs of particle physics; instead Lawrence points to the need for educators to care less about compelling students to find answers and spend more time encouraging students to ask questions. And here we find the roots of my children's novel. You might ask if Old Man Crawford is based on Lawrence Krauss? Hmmmmm . . . maybe!
